Privacy policy
Coastal WebX (ABN 74 976 719 989) is a web design business based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, run by Bailey. This page explains, in plain English, what personal information is collected through this website and how it is handled. Coastal WebX takes reasonable steps to handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What is collected
If you send an enquiry through the contact form, you provide your name, email address, an optional phone number, and whatever you write in your message. That is the only personal information this site asks for.
How it is used
Your details are used for one thing: replying to your enquiry and, if you become a client, delivering the work you have asked for. You will not be added to a mailing list, and your details will never be sold, rented or shared with anyone for marketing.
How the enquiry form works
The contact form is delivered by FormSubmit, a form-relay service that passes your message straight to the Coastal WebX email inbox. Your details pass through that service solely to deliver your message. You can always email or phone directly instead, using the details in the footer, if you prefer.
What is stored, and for how long
Enquiries live in the Coastal WebX email inbox, protected by the account's security. Enquiries that do not go anywhere are deleted from time to time. Client records are kept for as long as needed to support your website and to meet Australian tax and record-keeping requirements.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Basic, privacy-respecting visitor statistics (such as page views) may be collected to understand how the site is used. Fonts and some images are loaded from third-party services (Google Fonts, Unsplash), which may see standard technical information such as your IP address when your browser requests those files.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see the personal information held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Just ask. There is no form or fee.
